MAD MEN IS BACK IN A TWO WEEKS

For those who don’t, nor who could care less, I’m psyched. My fav show is getting ready to hit the small screen on Sunday August 16th on AMC. For those of you that have missed it, I can’t tell you how well this series gives you the feel and texture of what the late sixties were like in corporate America. Ahh the three martini lunches, the skinny ties and the ubiquitous camel non filter clinched between the right index and middle finger.

Can you even imagine cars had not incorporated the use of plastic as the main ingredient of the family vehicle yet. It meant when the street lights came on that was your sign to head in for the night to enjoy one of three network channels. Seemed so simple back then, even has the cold war swirled about and the race for the moon had accumulated with believing that the US was far ahead of all other countries in terms of a can do attitude.
