Adam Lambert’s AMA Video Watch It Here
Seems this video is hard to find, not sure why, but for those of you who missed it we still have it here. To be honest, I never seen nor heard of this guy, I am not an American Idol watcher. But after seeing this clip, I don’t think I am missing much.
To put this on prime time caused some controversy. The East Coast feed got to see it and the West Coast missed it. Being a good mens blog we try to deliver. Before the video itself, here are a few stills as to why everyone was in an uproar. Just in case the video is taken down. We have tried to download a copy but so far no luck.
So between tongue mauling a male keyboardist, grabbing a crotch or three, whipping and pulling a girl across stage, and yes even giving the appreciative audience the finger, Mr Lambert’s song is perhaps good if your tone deaf, or deaf period. We’ll let you decide.

I was shocked when I saw his performance!I couldn’t believe that this was allowed on ABC. I was never an American Idol fan either and to be honest I don’t know what everyone thought was so great about his voice.
He sucks. I don’t like him. I won’t be rushing out to buy any of his songs/albums either. Just saying.

Glenn, thanks for posting Adam’s Lambert videos. I have followed his career until he won second place on American Idol, but then this is the first time I heard about him. I like his interpretations of songs because it is controversial and upbeat, not the regular stuff. I must admit the song above sucks. I have heard all of his songs that I really like from the American Idol broadcasts. He has also an upbeat lifestyle. Now every one of your readers know that I like controversial topics, actors, singers, movies, and books. Have a Good Thanksgiving!
Totally ashamed at being an American and having this sputum being shown on television as music. This is Babylon America in a full downward spiral into the abyss.
I agree with you Glenn. I remember when music was about.. well music. I am not into artists who are all about sensationalism. But the planet demands to be entertained and this is not easily accomplished. I guess there is just no accounting for taste in this jaded world.

I agree that he is trying to be Madonna. A very tough feat to try to accomplish in ones debut performance. I do not think that Madonna will be flattered by this one. I see nothing wrong with his display of sexuality, if women can do it why can’t men? But seriously, You need to have talent and a voice to pull that off. A little sex appeal and subtle eroticism may have made this go a lot further. I wasn’t offended OR impressed. This was a good way to kill your career before it even started. Too bad for Adam. In my opinion this guy really can sing. I like him alot. The song he did on AMA was not his best work by far. Don’t know if it was the sound or what. I thought the performance was showy and a little over the edge for TV. If he was going for a big splash of attention then he did a good job.
I couldn’t watch the rest of the video, not because of the performance but because I couldn’t stand the voice. It sounded off to me. I don’t see anything major about the video, I don’t understand why people are afraid of something sexual, a little tongue, etc. I mean this is shocking, really? I hope people continue to push the envelope and break free from the it must be “proper” jibberish.
I could have muted it and watched the rest but didn’t want to heh. Seriously though, that voice did sound weird to me. Maybe it was an off day for him.

I doubt he doesn't care what others think, actually I think it is exactly the other way around, he does it to get attention.
