These sort of events (like the destruction of the clothes) are what keeps me from reading or listening to anything news related. Whether it's involving healthcare or what this article is mostly about, sometimes I just don't want to bother feeling angry at the actions of some of these businesses. I end up spending too much energy trying to conjure superhuman powers to set them straight. I haven't succeeded yet. The other tidbit regarding Ancient Digger, also infuriating. My recent post <a href="http://tickingtheclocks.com/articles/frankenstein-pc" target="_blank">The Frankenstein PC</a> I was going to write an epic reply, but you summed up my own personal thoughts well. We've seen the movie "The Corporation" (have it here on DVD matter of fact) and it's truly an eye-opener that you can't help but shake your head in disgust over many of the actions, thoughts and policies followed by other wasteful companies. The fact that in this day and age a company with the cash reserves and resources the size of Wal Mart or even H&M for that matter, would choose to destroy unsold merchandise rather than find a way to get it to charities that can in turn help out those in our society that need it is infuriating. A horribly missed opportunity, and a sad statement on the irresponsibility of America's retail giants.
