Just a quick note to our readers.
You will see occasionally we here at Man Over Board doing what is called a Sponsored post. These are posts where we get paid, a nominal fee, usually, to write about a certain product or service.
My guarantee is I won’t turn this blog into one large advertisement. But these sponsored posts to help offset some of the bills that are incurred in doing this blog, not to mention all the time involved.It also helps us take down more and more advertisements along the sidebars.
The sponsored posts will have a disclaimer at the very top of the post, usually the very first sentence to let you know. I can tell you this thou, the few that have been done already have been received VERY well. One of them the iPhone app for detecting drunken drivers I believe was a great new way to use your iPhone.
So I am trying to pick out the posts that actually have something good to say and also fit in with our blog. If you do not want to read through it, that is why the disclaimer is at the top. You comments are always welcomed of course.

I'm not opposed to reading paid posts. I learn new things while doing so. Like the iphone one. I didn't know that. So I'll read them if they interest me and won't if they don't. Fair enough?

As much as we bash big corporations, they are getting smart and advertising where people actually go now. Hell I will take their money, they have no problem taking ours. As long as we don't turn into one big advertising page, we will be fine. Take care to the real BoneHead, lol.
I don't have any problem with paid posts, I do them myself now and then. The few pennies you earn are a help and as long as that is not the entire content of your blog, I don't see the problem.
