Musicial Wednesday
Why does it always have to be Mondays? Seeing how I never do these types of posts anyway, I did want to put this song up for you. I just watched an adorable movie called “The Rebound” with one of my loves Catherine Zeta-Jones . I highly recommend this movie, it’s sweet and it has the older women, getting the younger man. Nicely done and the rolling ending credits had a new rendition of Paul Young’s ”Every Time You Go Away” another one of my all time favs. So welcome to MOB’s Musical Wednesday.

Love that song. Excellent. Now it's stuck in my head, but that's not a bad thing. I tried that younger man thing long ago. Didn't work out very well. If he just didn't talk it was much better.
Have a terrific day. Big hug.
Yeah a large age difference is more of a passing fancy I think then a long term commitment. I would say the percentages of a long lasting relationships isn't very high.
Hi Mr. Glenn, Sheesh! I like Catherine-Zeta Jones but this movie sounds like it is dangerously close to being a chick flick. You are my mentor, Mr. Glenn, I hope you are not going soft on me. Sigh! When you guys start showing your sensitive side that makes it so much harder for Boneheads like me.
Listen MR Bonehead, you left the States to come to a third world environment, that didn't even have a bathroom when you arrived and are afraid to get caught looking at a MOBelious babe, by your beautiful bride. Not to mention you live with everyone of her relatives within shouting distance. So I can relate that it was something about her that made you follow her and don't say money had anything to do with it. I enjoy football, but I also enjoy Harry Met Sally. Men are far from one dimensional, just as women are also. So it makes no difference who wears the pants in the household, maybe we all just share that pair when it's our time.
got that song in my head too! lol, I work in acd shop so i'm going to put it on now lol
I am glad you enjoy the song, as it is from Sir Paul Young, he was knighted yes? I know you are far form one to watch a chick flick as people will see when I get to post your guest post later thing evening. All flavors for all guys here at MOB. Rock on
Can Catherine Zita(Michael Douglas is a lucky Bastard) Jones, also qualify for Mobilicious Posts? If so, can I do "research"?
Other than that, The movie is a chick flick. The Song is wimpy, at best. What's a matter, Winter Time, leaving you feeling, morose? Don E's prescription= Shot of Tequila, Lime, Salt. Do it now, Grow Some, Snap out of it, We need you MOB!
Peace.

That's why you have to love being a blogger, everyone has an opinion and that's what makes it interesting. If this is a chick flick, which I am sure 95% of all men would classify the movie as a "chick flick". I am fine with my masculinity and have no problems with enjoying a film that doesn't have adventure, violence, explosions or murder as it's sub plot. It seems a chick flick for most, means it has a story about an every day life point of view. So be it, then I enjoy a chick flick, now and then, more so then one laced with the world coming to an end or how one man can beat an army with nothing but his hands and incredible brain power. As far a s the song, it's one I enjoy and if I am a wimp, I would love to see someone call it to my face. Not yelling at you Don at all, you're just stating what many men think and don't comment. I say to each his own. And I am happy that you can say whatever you like on here, that's what it is for. As far as the tequila I am there anytime with you my brother.
I wonder how well Catherine Zeta Jones act in a romantic movie, so far I only saw her performance most in action movies

Catherine I believe can do it all, including comedy.
Whoa…first of all LOVE the song, Catherine Zeta Jones, and chick flicks, as well I appreciate men who are secure enough with their masculinity to enjoy a chick flick now and then and admit it…after all I like a racy adventure movie on occasion myself…all this coming from a "mature" married woman!!! :0)
Cheers

Thank you Heather, I guess this proves showing a softer side of men, has it's benefits. But in all fairness, the guys replies I know are tongue and cheek and shall I say ball busting me. We men love that sort of thing
Of course for some reason I think we might get more comments.
That movie does look good and sorry if it is a chick flick. And a great song. The movie has to be good with Catherine Zeta Jones in it. You guys know you would like the movie. And Glenn, I am glad to know you have a soft side. Nothing wrong with that.
Thank you Marg and I think, at least I hope all men have that soft side, they tend to hide it, mainly because that is the way we were brought up and the fact that in real life, we are confronted by others who test our manliness, whether it’s testosterone driven or just seeing who the Alpha is. Women I am sure are also tested, in a different way, and that I will leave to the experts, meaning you ladies to let us men know what goes on between the female side of this ritual, it seems we have displayed since the Neanderthals roamed.

Glenn, You know, that was tonguencheek, right? In fact, I also, love the occasional chick-flick, you can check, it's in my full profile! In fact, I even…tear…up…during…em'. See "My Sisters Keeper, and bring a wad of, Kleenex!
Prepare for a virtual Tequila Shot , Soon!
Peace.
p.s. I would never, call you a wimp to your face. You would kick my ass, I'm disabled, you know.
Don, believe me when I wrote it I knew I would get shit for it and honestly I am glad I did, mainly because I think men get a raw deal many times when it comes to the fact we are not “in touch” with our feminine side, not sure what that means exactly, hell we are men. Yes I knew you were busing my chops. I shot in the manly end part, about someone calling me a wimp, cuz I had my spinach this morning and Olive Oil wouldn’t put out

Always like this tune. I'll have to check out the movie sometime.

Todd I enjoyed the movie, it wasn't an earth shattering flick at all, but just a nice simple story with lots of Catherine in it. So it was a fine movie in my book
