Help me: I’m not my Fucking Father
Something very different for our MOB readers today. This will be be part of a series that delve into men’s health both with Western Traditional Physicians who we have lined up in the next coming weeks and also a more Eastern Type practitioner that heals through ancient practices and also spiritual practitioners who provide a very controversial yet positive practice of Spiritual Healers. Today we will welcome as some say a “New Age”introduction to health from half way around the world, Australia.
After these series are done we will have an interview with each and with your help, ask questions of these professionals of healers some of your own personal questions and questions that we here at MOB will be inquiring about.
Biography: Simon Hay is today’s guest poster. His website is located in Australia at Simonhay.com and he also has a blog where you can interact with Simon. Mr.Hay travels all over Australia and New Zealand and has an amazing story to tell and teach. Here is a little about Mr Hay in his own words:.
Help me: I’m not my Fucking Father
Too many of us have been raised by single mothers, and when we need our father’s the most they’re absent. We vow to not follow the same path: we won’t be alcoholics, we’d never hit a woman, or threaten a child, and yet inexplicably it’s common to follow the same path as our fathers and all the fathers before. We resist as long as we can, but the fuse has been lit generations before. Beaten by a father who was beaten by his father and so it goes.

The energy/vibration of this pattern is in our cells, our DNA, in this script, this symbol @; it’s consciousness. We’re cable TV with an infinite number of frequencies and the remote control is life. Scream obscenity at a pregnant woman and the unborn child feels every emotion and an energetic frequency for disaster is switched on. The family sitcom for boys, When I’m frustrated and insecure I’ll yell at you bitch, is pre-programmed, and for girls it’s the classic, I’m going to choose a bastard who hurts me nightly.
We’re the vessel of expression for consciousness/spirit. Allow your thinking to embrace the notion that the past, present and future all coexist. You cannot see it but you can sense it. Walk into a room after an argument and you’ll feel unsettled. What’s bothering you is the vibration/frequency of the past. You react because within your energy field is the Anger channel, one click down from the Victim channel. It’s reality, I don’t have enough drama in my life I want to be a voyeur, TV at its best/worst.
Stop, ask for help, and break the pattern. Energy healing is a great tool for altering an individual’s vibration. With intent and will a genuine healer can alter the vibrations in your energy field. The reactive energy threads of generational habit can be neutralised, and windows of opportunity for change will manifest.
As parents we’re shaping the lives of our children with every thought, emotion, desire, fear, and action. We’re better than the sins of our fathers. I love you dad, just don’t hurt me anymore.
Tell me your story. What patterns of behaviour have you noticed in your family, and how have you freed yourself from the past?

I married one of these guys. It took years for it to show, but I was to blame for everything not right in his world. It didn't take me long to get out. I deserved better than that.
While spending my 25 years in law enforcement I saw tons of these guys, and often daddy was defending them for things they did. Blaming the woman. I can so relate to this post.
Have a terrific day. Big hug Glenn.
My recent post The Story Game
Oh boy, not good Sandee. Glad you got out of it, even though I see it took a few years, but you seem very happy now and that I wish you my friend, nothing but happiness for the rest of your days and nights, which means a lot of days ahead of you to make up for the past bad ones. BIG HUG
Everyone deserves better than that. Bravo to 25 years in law enforcement. Thanks for the comment. Take care, Simon.
Geeze Glenn! Your new series is gonna be some deep s***! I will look forward to it. I have always had an inkling, about body energy. Energy, that you give, and receive from others. As well as how your own body energy, effects oneself. Whew!
Wow, don't know what just happened with my comment(i changed log in to twitter, as facebook has my feed all F'dUp, and I am getting no help from them). Anyways let me retype what I had.
Congrats on your Runner up at EzGreatLife! You, Glenn have also been a Mentor of mine, right from the get go of, my silly blog, Thankyouthankyouthankyou, for that. I will always be great-full. If I can follow yours, and Johns lead, I will be a better Man, and blogger for it.
Peace.
Would not be a day with sunshine unless Mr Chute stopped by
Congrats on your great award to my friend, that a hell of a lot of EC credits, good for you!!!
Credits for awareness of body energy. Cheers, Simon.
Well this is going to be interesting. Kind of deep for my poor tired brain. But I will read and see if I can learn something. Not sure if I want to learn all about this idea but I will at least read it .
My recent post We won an award
They won't all be this deep Marg, I can assure you that
Hi Marg. Thanks for reading. No to deep I hope, Sleep weel, Simon.
OK…get me started and I'll go on & on…but I don't have time right now so I'll say…I do believe in personal energy, instinct, gut feeling or what ever you want to call it…the nature versus nurture aspect of who we are, and "choice"…if we are honest there is a great deal about our lives that comes down to choice!!!
Cheers
My recent post Sparkle & Shine!
Yes it is choice and I also believe in there are no coincidences in life. Everything is as it should be. Hope you have a great weekend Heather and thanks.
Morning Heather. Yes, yes, and yes to everything. We can choose to change if we truely desire to. Thanks for commenting, Simon.
Sorry, I call BS on the whole "it's not my fault. My pappy, my grandpappy, and his pappy before him were dicks, so I must be a dick too." This behavior is not hidden in the coding of our DNA. It's called living by example. When someone sees their role models acting a certain way, it is imbedded in their mind that in those times that it's okay to act that way.
Stress, unhappiness, and any other factor can trigger these hidden thoughts. Then, whammo, they go off the deepend.
See, it's not genetic. It's all about surroundings.
My recent post Are you ready for the powers of coffee?
Hi Todd. I like this: it is imbedded in their mind. I'll agree, but I see mind as being in the energy field and not within the body. Science can't find the mind in the body. I've also had many experiences where clients have not known their fathers/mothers yet display the same characteristics. A different nurturing environment and yet they still act out the character flaws of the absent abusive parent. Something to consider. Thanks for the comment, Simon.
Hi! Thanks for blogging about this topic. I think it is really important to be aware of cycles, and how the violence of bad behavior we saw as children, will on some level, remain in us. Breaking the cycle is a crucial thing. My father abused me and was violent so I am taking every step I can to make sure that I am never the same with my children, never, but it is a process of course.
My recent post Bridgestone Motorcycle Tires
Hi Chris. I'm motivated to blog about these topics. I believe we can change. Violence is a habit and serves no purpose. Good luck with everything, Simon.
Simon your words to all have been very inspiring and grateful. It has been a pleasure to have you here and we hope you get the chance to grace us with another of your posts. Peace
hmmmm…I have had to think about my reply here as my mind tends to feel very challenged when there is one answer to the why's of the human's mind where behavior is concerned.
There have been so many experiments and research done on this very subject…from is it learned behavior…is it environmental stimulation….it is chemical and or genetic… can it be a spiritual energy?….and on and on.
Take an adopted child for example…raised in a family totally different than what his/her own would have been….is that child going to grow up and become a different person….or is that person going to be initially the same?
We are so much of what we see and hear..aka 'learned behavior'….that it makes it very hard to really know exactly who we are initially .
Using the example of grandfather down to father ect as passing down negative and abusive DNA is a hard one to agree with….using my example of removing that child and having him/her raised in a complete different household may very well break that cycle then proving the learned behavior theory quite well.
Then again we have the example of the very good upbringing in a balanced home…with the child who on the outside was known as intelligent, charming, all around good person…turn into a mass murderer or serial killer….where the heck do those characteristics come from……?
As I said…there is a very tangled web in this question.
I wish I had more time to confuse everyone even more
Awesome thought provoking topic guys….many thanks to Glenn and the guest writer!
Hi Dorothy,
Yes a tangled web indeed. I see all things as being connected. Everything is in the field. What you think and do is recorded by my energy field because I’m a part of the ‘field’. Six billion lives, but only one life. One mind. Science cannot locate memory or mind in the body. I believe mind is in the energy field. If we didn’t have language what would our minds be doing?
What are cells? If you magnify a cell you will find these wide open spaces. Science believes frozen light fills these spaces. What’s the source? We’re almost 99% of nothing. It’s the nothing we share. My DNA is the product of my parents. Everything has a vibration. It’s the vibration/frequency we inherit.
I’ve worked with clients who have had no contact with their fathers/mothers and yet have the same personality traits and mannerisms. How is this possible? Our energy fields and the field store this information.
Thanks for the comment, Simon.
Hello Simon and thank you for your thoughts.
Indeed it is so much easier to say I understand if I only have to think we are all connected through a life long extension cord
It so erases so many why’s when it comes to ones behaviors and characteristics.
The sound of Scientology comes to mind when I read how you describe the whole family synergy mystery !
Again thank you do much!
Although I have kept out of most of the discussions on this post, I do have thoughts and also experiences. I am very much a believer that we are all basically energy, electricity, atoms, sub particles, etc. I came to this belief when 13 years ago I devoted much of my free time in search of answers that one comes upon when you get to a point in your life and you ask the age old question “Why Am I Here?”
Most of my life has been intertwined with, at least in my estimation, an incredible sense of timing. I don’t believe, once again there are no coincidences in life. During this part of my life I started to examine why I was here and what it meant. I was raised in the Catholic religion, but at this point of my life I was very much an Agnostic.
I started reading and learning as much as I could from a gentlemen, known as the “The Sleeping Prophet”, Edgar Cayce. I was so intent on learning his life’s work, that I went to where Mr Cayce built his “hospital” in Virginia Beach. Where I was able to walk to grounds and touch parts of his life through most of my senses. Why Virginia Beach is a story all to itself, again with many self discoveries on my behalf.
Shortly after a book came out called the Celestine Prophecies, which was on the best seller list for many months. I fictionalized easy read that was popular and still is because of it’s simplicity and questions it brings about. I also at this time joined two local groups who were very much into this realm of thinking(belief) and also holistic practices. It was very much a grounding, enlightening and meaningful time of my life, which in essence to this day is still very much how I live my life.
While I do not proclaim to be anything close to an expert or a practitioner like Simon. I do believe we are very much a product of energy.
Without going into a long dissertation, it is the closest and most logical way that I believe how we exist and how we interact with the world around us. There are many labels people call this whether it is the our spirit, our souls, etc. As the bible states from “dust to dust” most human beings cannot accept that is all we are. Nor should they. I also believe the Bible, Torah, Holy Scriptures, Koran etc are a great books published by men who interpreted words, visions and actions of their prophet(s).
In conclusion. the more I read and learn the more questions I have. Will any of us receive all the answers. No I don’t believe that is possible.
What this one post, although very specific in regards to topic, reopens all those thoughts, beliefs and questions to me once again. I can say I am at a much better place in my life, spiritually because of my self learning.
But this topic, like politics will always have different views and thoughts. I very much wanted to introduce this into our blog for this reason: That men are a complex beings, that sometimes are easily labeled as single minded, visual beings. And maybe rightfully so.
I know you D through your blog and believe you do not prescribe to that notion. But in between the fun and stereotypical Man posts. It is important to me, that we should always have a balance of subjects, especially with the health of mind, body and spirit. Not only for men but our beautiful partners, women.
I will admit that the title was enough to heighten my curiosity, and I am glad I read the article. It reminds me a lot of what Gary Zukav talks about, and though I don’t think a lot of people like to talk about this sort of thing, I really believe there is a lot of truth to it. We learn a lot on a subconscious subliminal level, and it is amazing the way what we don’t fully realize impacts our lives.
The title is hard to miss and hope it was well worth the clicking on it. Always a pleasure to see you. Simon will be back soon for more.
Hi Carlotta,
I’ll have to look into Gary Zukav. Bruce Lipton is someone you might be interested in. I’ve only just discovered him myself but haven’t read any of his books yet. Dean Raddin has got some great material too, but again I’ve just found him.
Thanks for the comment, Simon.
