She’s Back and Better Than Ever

After a ten year sabbatical, one of MOB’s favorite “In The Mood” songstress Sade (pronounced  shar-DAY) is back. And we proclaim better then ever.

In doing the preparation for this article it was necessary to tune into The View this morning to watch Sade sing her new single Soldier of Love. We included it below for your viewing pleasure. Being that it is youtube we hope it stays up for at least the next week before Sony takes it down. We also have included a link to her website to listen to it there or download it to your iPod.

Celebrating her 50th birthday last month, she looks as sexy and beautiful as she did in her heydays of the ’80′s. She is still one smooth operator.  What we find great about Sade is the fact she reaches out equally to both male and female audiences. It was her songs, that played in the background while many a couple consummated their marriage.

The Views one minute interview was regrettable and even though she is known to shy away from the spotlight, her English-Nigerian roots were evident. This to us, makes her that much more enigmatic and sexy. We personally could spend the entire day, just counting the freckles that adorn her smiling face. We do have one question. How can anyone listen to this group of women, when one of them is Elizabeth Hassleback?

So Spring is right around the corner, even as the Eastern Seaboard is being pounded by yet another snowstorm. Listening to Sade’s newest CD,  will help all of us make it through the next month just a little bit easier.  It will definitely help get you into the mood for indoor activities after you’re done shoveling.

And to all of you on the west coast, while we envy your warm weather, we see that the mudslides are reappearing and many of you are going crazy because of the rain. We love to put a So Cal driver behind the wheel of a car today and travel from DC to NYC. Dollars to donuts you would be pulled over to the side of the road, indulging on one of your medical marijuana cigarettes to cope.
