Me Love Pizza!!!
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Tony’s Pizza. All opinions are 100% mine.
Yup every once in a while MOB will do a sponsored post. But we don’t take everyone that is offered and believe me, we get a lot of offers. Taking this opportunity for me personally was a no brainer.
First off , as the title of this post states I LOVE pizza, it is by far and away my favorite food. Second while redoing this blog and spending 18 hour days to get it back and running, having a quick, delicious and easy dinner was a God send. Not to mention, Tony’s sent me some coupons in the mail for free pizza, again a no brainer.
Lastly I consider myself a real expert when it comes to pizza. I was an owner of a pizza restaurant for over ten years and had been named the “best pizza in town” award many times by many publications. So taking this opportunity while at first seemed perfect for me, I had trepidations because no matter what, I am to a fault an honest writer when it comes to this blog. In other words I am not going to lie to you, for a few free pizza’s.
I have bought Tony’s before. They have been around a long time and during the time of my life when an 80 hour a week was the norm. Tony’s was always a trusted friend when I got home.
OK now down to the good news. It seems many pizza companies are redoing their recipes because of bad press and declining sales. Now I haven’t eaten a Tony’s pie in a long time, but what I remember was a good pie, nothing outstanding. It was after all, an inexpensive and quick dinner. So I didn’t think I would be overwhelmed by an outstanding pizza.
I went to the market a few days ago and got a few pies, a cheese and a pepperoni. Popped them in the oven last night and waited about fifteen minutes. By the way, I was still impressed by the price of their pizza, it’s still a great buy and the taste of the pie was as I remembered it, except for one thing. I picked up the crispy crust, that was thinner then their regular offering and I was impressed by the dough. To me it is hard to screw up a pizza, but I have been known to shoot out a frozen food offering before. Tony’s did not disappoint me.
The sauce had a nice balance of spices, the cheese was OK, but the crust was very good. As I said before I haven’t bought a frozen pizza, Tony’s or any other brand in a long time. I am now happily surprised that I will be back, with or without a free coupon.
By the way, Tony’s Pizza has printed free bowling passes on the back of some of their pizzas. I used their online tool to learn that the passes are accepted at lanes within walking distance of my house– as well as 2 within a 15 minute drive. So you might want to visit Tony’s page to learn more about the bowling promotion.
So next time you are in a hurry or just plain tired, pop in a Tony’s Pizza. I would even consider it when you have the guys over for a poker or to watch a game on your TV.
One last thing for all our regular readers of this blog. I know many of you use Facebook and Twitter. If you want to be one of my best pals ever and tweet about Tony’s, just put this into your tweet for me if you could #TonysPizza. You guys are awesome!!!
I am going to try to get more coupons from Tony’s and if I do, we will do a fun contest in conjunction with a few other vendors I know. We will give out some free pizzas and a few other goodies. I will surprise you later when I have everything put together.
Opps , I think I was suppose to write only about 200 words, oh well. Think I will go put a pizza in the oven and watch some American Idol (keeps my wife happy to watch it with her). Have a great night and be safe.

I’ve had Tony’s Pizza many times too. When I was single it was always in the freezer. Come home from work and have pizza. We did some of the same things here. It’s indeed a good pie.
Have a terrific day. Big hug.
Don’t think we have Tony’s Pizza here in Canada. But that’s ok, cuz I love making my own on a tender whole wheat biscuit crust. Topped with a sauce spiked with herbs I grow myself and then the family fights over what toppings to put on it so I end up making at least two at a time.
I’ll agree that Tony’s pizza has a great price. My husband will normally choose that brand. As for me, I’m a fan of the thick and chewy crust pizza and so far my favorite seems to be a self rising crust pizza, the store I work at has their own brand and I’m rather fond of it. Of course if you want Great pizza skip the frozen…lol
Tony’s pizza is pretty good for frozen pizza, but living right next door to Old Forge, Pennsylvania, the pizza capital of the United States, there’s nothing like fresh pizza from Roma’s Pizza or Buona’s Pizza from Scranton. I especially love the white pizza which contains no tomatoe sauce but instead is covered in fresh sliced tomatoes. You haven’t had real pizza unless you’ve visited Scranton, Pennsylvania.
