I’ve not seen one of these movies. We gave up television about four years ago and it was the best decision we ever made. Not that’s it’s bad, we just didn’t care for most of the stuff they called entertainment.
Have a terrific day. Big hug.

Years ago I would watch the oscars but those were real classics and what I call real entertainment . THe movies nominated now I have not seen so I could not even guess who would win. As for best actors in the leading role they might as well placed Mickey Mouse name on the ballot. Im sure glad I can still watch the classics on cable and see real Movie stars at their best like Humphry Bogart, Spencer Tracey, Charles Heston, John Wayne etc. Now those are Actors…. And Im not that old but Im happy that they still show those old movies on t.v.
Hi Lilyruth and thanks for stopping by. I have seen most of them, I just finished Up in the Air with George Clooney and thought it was nice movie. Kinda sad but George did a really outstanding job. I also saw An Education that was a British film and was excellent, sad also in many parts, but well worth the watch. I saw Avatar, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, A Serious Man, and also have to say I enjoyed them, not so much Avatar, that was mostly a weak story with great visuals. Wow, didn’t realized I saw most of them all I didn’t get to see Precious yet. None were much better then the others, I would like to see Crazy Heart, heard Jeff Bridges was excellent.
If this is Fashion then Im glad I no longer watch the Oscars and try to see who is the best dressed. People have some weird taste in fashions ,they all look like they are going to a Halloween party.
I would hope all but two of the fashions would never be on a red carpet. How and why they come up with these crazy looks I am sure is for attention only.
I have seen any of these movies, not that I don’t want to it just seems that when I do go to the movies it’s for a PG film. Anyway, love, love Sandra Bullock and I thought her speech at the Razzies was hysterical and all in good fun.
These clothes look like the costumes for the next sci-fi thriller!
You mean you wouldn’t want to go out in one of these great looks? This the one with the goggles would look so interesting on you
this really a fashion, but as we all know, most of these celebs, exaggerates everything, when they were wearing this kind of stuff. It is okay to follow what’s in, but to damn desperate making your self a clown, like lady gaga.. No offense meant..
Nice to see you Tim and yea exaggeration is the name of the game for designers to get known. Shock value I guess. Also seems like a waste of time too.
i already added you as my friend..Ex-links?
Fashion has become so theatrical. Most of these pieces cost a fortune and many would never dream of wearing them. I like fashion, but I don’t live for it. You should be comfortable in what you’re wearing and unique, maybe not this unique, however.
I’ll look out for it and run the other way if I see it coming. I’m a jeans and t shirt kind of gal
Mr. Glenn, I am p.o.’d big time! These are not original fashions! The little dressmaker that is our neighbor in the jungles of the Philippines designed these several years ago. She posted her work on the Internet last year and now see what happens!
There’s a reason why it’s called HIGH Fashion. You’d have to be high to see the value in it I guess.
No j Giddy, you would look good in that one black dress ensemble. I could see you and Chris out to dinner now in that.
