I Started My Own Business
Well after being on unemployment now for a few months and not being able to find any jobs available. So while no one would hire me and my considerable skills, I decided to go back to being self employed and today was my first day. It felt good being able to get out of the house and finally make some money to pay for the bills that are mounting. After all I couldn’t sleep at night night worrying about how to pay for my internet connection to keep my beloved blog going and communicating with all my new friends I have met here from blogging.
I must admit, I have been feeling depressed and even got to the point of not even getting my hair cut, even though my wife kept yelling at me, telling me I was starting to look like a hippy.
Seeing how I had been classically trained in my early youth as a skilled musician, I decided to write some new material and go out and perform it to the masses. A good friend was kind enough to film one song for me so that I could share it with you also.
If any of you enjoy my performance and would like to donate to my cable bill, please let me know and I will be happy to take your money. If you don’t enjoy the song, I would appreciate you letting me know your thoughts as to what I can change in order to make it better.

Long, long ago and far, far away in a land known as my youth I lived in San Francisco and would often hang out at the wharf. There was a guy down there who billed himself as a Human Jukebox. He was inside this tall decorated box and if you dropped money through a slot, the front would pop open and he’d play a song for you on his trumpet. I think he did a pretty good business. Hadn’t thought of him in years. Thanks for triggering that memory.
