Amazing Tiny Apartment Transforms Into A 24 Room Living Area
In Hong Kong, because of the space, apartments are small and expensive. Gary Chang, an architect, decided to design a 344 sq. ft. apartment to be able to change into 24 different designs, all by just sliding panels and walls. He calls this the “Domestic Transformer.”
It is amazing that a space with less then 400 square feet can be totally transformed by his ingenuity in the use of sliding walls. He can configure the space into 24 different combinations that take efficiency into a whole new level.
While many of us here in the US have closets the size of Gary’s home, the people of Hong Kong are now jumping on the bandwagon to making their spaces, livable and unique.
So next time you get angry because you think you have no more room to place your clothes. Look at Gary’s video and learn a few things. Who said bigger was better?

Wow that’s amazing. I think I would probably go nuts in a place that small but with what he’s done to it would make it much more bearable. At least in a space that small I wouldn’t have the opportunity to collect so much junk

Wow, that was truly amazing. We have 2300 sq. feet and it’s just the two of us and one dog. I can relate to utilizing space well though since we have a boat that is smaller than that. Very impressive video Glenn.

I’m all about efficiency – but I think all the moving, sliding and bending would get old after a while. Hmmm…guess that makes me sound like what? Yup – fat, lazy American.

That was wild. I’ve never been very good at puzzles and would probably not be able to match up the walls correctly. I would definitely need a site map for an apartment like that and would likely end up sleeping in the bath instead of the bed. Very cool video.

WOW! That’s amazing! I’m so glad, I don’t live in a congested area with tiny apartments that probably cost a fortune to live in.
Yes living in congestion has some disadvantages, but then again, if your hungry at 4 in the morning it is easy to find a place open.
It is amazing what a person can do when they want to & have the extra funds to do it with as I am sure that little creation had to cost a few $$$…….very impressive indeed~
PS….you also get your exercise as you rearrange your walls~
