Three Decades Of Unforgettable Fashion In Pictures
I thought it might be fun to take a stroll down memory land and make up a top ten list for each of decades gone by and the fashion tastes of these three generations. From the disco era of the 70′s, the glam rockers of the 8o’s and finally the 1990′s where we started it off with the grunge sound to winding up the century with the quintessential blonds of Spears, Simpson and Aquliera.

The gold parachute pants are just wrong on so many levels.
Can’t touch this …………………comment
I so remember all of this. ALL. OF. THIS. I wore the hot pants and boots in the 70s and I was smoking hot. Not to mention the micro mini skirts.
Have a terrific day and weekend Glenn. Big hugs.
Ohhh baby, hot pants and mini skirts!!! I think it’s your civic duty to send us some of those pictures of you in them, of course with the white leather boots too
This post is real cool, Glenn. I love baby doll dresses and minis, hehe! The hot trends of the past is being repeated today. Even if I wasn’t born yet in the early 70′s I still would get to experience the return of the fashion trend. As they say, history repeats itself.
Have a fab weekend!
I remember all of these. I have to say I really don’t know what anyone was thinking when they came up with the mullet though. I hated that look
It’s something you posted this today, my dad was just showing me pictures of my great grandfather and grandmother, probably from early in the 1900′s. The clothes they were wearing really caught my attention.

the goth look is so weird
Hi! This post is amazing! Oh God, seeing these pictures I realize how weird fashion is!!! But in that context they looked so cool!!!
Ever since humans first clothed themselves for protection from the elements, fashion has been an ever-evolving tableau, sometimes changing overnight, and sometimes settling into periods of hibernation where slight trends aren’t identifiable except long afterwards, in retrospect; sometimes out of need, or societal reaction to events. Custom t-shirt, blazers, dresses are the trends of today.
