Disturbing New Aerial Footage Of The Oil Drenched Gulf, Now On It’s Way Up The East Coast
Each week a new video surfaces to show the scope of the BP disaster that is still no where near being shut down. As you will see in this video, not only is it affecting the living organisms trying to survive in the ocean waters, but now also the sky above it.
What’s even more devastating is what scientists are anticipating in the following paragraph:
BP‘s epic oil slick could soon round the Keys and start oozing up the southern East Coast, a scary new report from government scientists warns.
Under the model released by the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the oil will spread along hundreds of miles of the Atlantic coast as the summer rolls on – but New York, New Jersey and New England will escape unscathed.

I am so utterly disgusted about this. I’m in Florida and afraid to go in the ocean. I can’t even bring my dogs to the beach. Screw BP!
this is far more catastrophic than I think people realize…sad
It’s rare that I feel helpless and hopeless, but this is how the spill makes me feel. We have so screwed ourselves this time.

I don’t want to think about it, hear it or be reminded of it. Right now I am sitting in a beach house in the Outer Banks. We have been swimming in the most beautiful pristine water you can ever imagine. There have been fish and dolphins jumping, pelicans flying and osprey catching dinner all week. I know the possibility. I know the potential reality. But I can’t face it.

It’s just devastating to watch that video. And the worst part is that this is already going to take years to clean up and the oil is still flowing.
Todavía no pueden con el petroleo, después de contaminar el mar deciden que también el aire…. http://bit.ly/9un6QO
How is hurrican season going to affect the oil spill?
That is one hell of a good question. I can’t imagine how a hurricane will spread this mess even farther inland.
