According to studies two out of three will be affected by the plant. Just tried my search though after I saw the video.

I hate to be the dumb schmuck in a cage with a tiger and a sprig of catnip. Or how about throwing one of those frilly catnip toys at the nose of a lion. No thank you, very much!!
I know one “Tiger” who liked cat-nip. But he had to go to a sex clinic to get rid of the scent.
Only cost him about 1 billion dollars—cheep nip when it comes down to it.
