MOB Named Site Of The Day By SiteJabber.com

We were pleasantly surprised today to learn our little piece of cyber real estate, that being Man Over Board has been recognized by SiteJabber.com as the website of the day. We have been blogging less then a year and have been fortunate to have been given awards before, mostly from other great blogs and bloggers. As most of you know, we do not advertise these awards, mainly because they come very often and well, we just don’t have the room to post every one. But to us this particular award is very special to us, because SiteJabber is a recognized consumer service that is funded by a grant from Uncle Sam. “SiteJabber is a consumer protection site made possible by a grant from the US Government’s National Science Foundation“ from SiteJabber.com
They do a great service for all people who surf the web, to make sure websites and blogs conform to legitimate standards that are actually looked at and gone over by real people to make sure the sites fall within their guidelines. They do this to make sure you are not being scammed or some type of malware is attaching itself to your computer.
So today we are patting ourselves on the back, as this award means we are doing a good job at keeping you entertained without your personal information getting in the wrong hands and your computer staying safe from catching any bad bugs or viruses.
We also urge all our great blogger friends to join SiteJabber to not only someday get a badge like us, but you also get reviewed by some knowledgeable people from all around the world. SiteJabber was named last month by PC Magazine as one of the top 100 sites for 2010 which is a great honnor for them also.
