California Dreaming of Pot Legalization
Well leave it to the Chinese to make our day. This is one of the funniest videos we have ever viewed. This quick animated short is absolutely beautiful. You just have to love how funny they make us Americans look, especially Californians who have an upcoming vote on legalizing pot.
We are all for it. While our pot smoking days are long behind us, we think it is ludricrious that we don’t legalize it and free up our jails, make tons of money from tax revenue and take the money to go after the real problems of our country, dirty no good politicians, I mean the hard drug dealers. (I think their they’re the same, only one is legal and big pharma makes all the money).
Anywho this is well worth a good laugh and we are pasting the stats to go along with the video that http://www.nma.tv/ created. They have tons of others too.
According to recent polls, 49% of California voters favor a ballot measure that could legalize possession of up to 1 ounce of marijuana. Backers say Prop 19 could generate up to US$1.4 billion in annual tax receipts for local governments and generate US$300 million annual law enforcement savings. But opponents worry the increased availability of marijuana will lead to higher use among minors. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently decriminalized possession of up to 1 ounce and says Prop 19 is unnecessary.

I’m all for it too. Like you, my smoking days are behind me, but why should we keep this ancient law that is basically costing the state money. Legalize it!
I do like your idea about the crooked politicians. I’d vote yes on that.
Have a terrific day. Big hug.
Legalize all drugs, release all of those imprisoned for possession. Do this, and you will save more than you can imagine in tax dollars. Anyone know how much the DEA costs the US a year?
