What took them so long? Why was it so necessary to continually hear how important it was to have a bi partisan representation to pass a health care bill? A bill, by the way that was not only needed, BUT already had the majority vote secured? Why did it take so long for Obama to finally grow a set of balls and ram it up the asses of the Republicans? Bill Maher said it much better then I could ever, and he did. here’s a quick clip of him doing just that.

PLEASE President Obama, don’t stop here. Don’t do the well known Democrat stance of winning one then backing down, like we won so let’s not push our luck!

All we heard from Obama during his campaign and his inaugural speech “It’s Time For A Change”. Stick to your plan, don’t stop here, keep the momentum going and you will find how many people here in the US and abroad will be right behind you. We DO need a change, we DO need to build our pride and our fortitude back!  We DO need to be looked at, not only by the rest of the world, but our own nation, as a people who are doers once again.

Both Marg and Harry are owners of M&H Used Battery Shoppe in Bayonne, New Jersey. Lifetime members of the Bayonne Synchronized Water Ballet, they also enjoy watching reruns of Quincy MD and taking walks along the village sanitation station. However, their greatest enjoyment is listening to their police scanner while giving the twin possums their Saturday evening baths.

We have a great guest post today, from a fellow blogger that I got to meet by reading a guest post he did over at Blog With Wings. Boy he gets around!! We’re becoming fast friends and today he shares a great post with us about the opposite sex, our beautiful women. Women, how can they be so… The female species in itself is, at best an enigma to most of us men. We love them and hate them for a wide variety of reason’s. Quick tid bit; this article is not for the young or easily offended so if you are under 18 please exit stage left (Shakespearean humor).

Now before you ladies out there get your panties in a knot or your knicker’s in a bunch allow me to at least write my thoughts and get to the point. I will try very hard not to offend those of the more feminist nazi style regime, women like my daughter who strongly believes that she doesn’t need a man for any reason at all. Except for those times when she needs a ride somewhere, or money for something, or protection from a moronic ex boyfriend or…well I think I have made my point.

Personally, I love women. Especially my wife. On that front however, obviously I am somewhat biased, that and if I speak any bad about her I will certainly see a shoe fly at me (wink). Quite possibly the greatest thing ever said about women was said in the wonderfully acclaimed movie “Scent of a Woman” starring Al Pacino. His character Lt. Col. Frank Slade had this to say and well dammit it sum’s all women up perfectly:

Women! What can you say? Who made ‘em? God must have been a fuckin’ genius. The hair… They say the hair is everything, you know. Have you ever buried your nose in a mountain of curls… just wanted to go to sleep forever? Or lips… and when they touched, yours were like… that first swallow of wine… after you just crossed the desert. Tits. Hoo-ah! Big ones, little ones, nipples staring right out at ya, like secret searchlights. Mmm. Legs. I don’t care if they’re Greek columns… or secondhand Steinways. What’s between ‘em… passport to heaven. I need a drink. Yes, Mr Sims, there’s only two syllables in this whole wide world worth hearing: pussy. Hah! Are you listenin’ to me, son? I’m givin’ ya pearls here.

Women, You Can't Live With Them,

Ahh….solid words for the young man or woman depending on which way your boat floats. As nicey nice as this quote is it is somewhat biased because it only says the wonderful things about women, it doesn’t dare to dwell on the evil (and almost unspoken side).

Let the games begin:

The movie neglects to mention that some women can be down right nasty during their monthly visitor. It neglects to mention that there are those of the fairer sex who simply want one thing out of life and that one thing is a “Sugar Daddy”. I have been one, so don’t tell me they don’t exist. Once my bank account had been nicely drained of all it’s cash, plus all of it’s wonderful overdraft and the money was all gone, so was she. Lesson learned, some things really are worth alot of money. Looking back on that situation, it was worth every penny to get her out of my life. No resentment is felt, just a longing for all of the interest I lost, both in her and in the bank hehe.

The movie neglects how caddy women can be. It has been my experience that most women are simply vultures waiting to have the latest gossip so that they can begin spreading rumours aplenty. On that note, I personally believe that this is a sickness directly related to growing up anywhere in the Greater Timmins and Cochrane District. The women I know down south don’t have this problem, therefore I must surmise that there is something in the water to make women act in this way in this part of the world.

And You Can't Live Without Them!

I love how women can flirt with a total stranger and make them feel like the King of the world. I hate how women can flirt to just get what they want, simply use a guy and move along, what’s worse is they know they are doing it and they don’t care.

Ahh, mom and dad must be soooo proud to have raised such a …hmmm…how do I put this…what’s the word….oh right : Such a BITCH. I love how a woman’s smile can cheer me up. I hate how a woman’s smile can cause a war.

Personally, I am a lucky guy to have found a diamond in the rough, I don’t say that lightly either as my wife was abused in the past, both mentally and physically so she is slowly becoming a happy person being with someone who treats her properly. I also respect how she doesn’t dwell on it. Too many women don’t dust themselves off and get help or counselling and move on with their life. They sit around and boo hoo about the past and before they realize it life is pretty much over.

So ladies, become who you are supposed to be and learn to look in the mirror. The next time you use someone (and you know you are using them) ask yourself how you would feel if someone treated you that way…chances are you wouldn’t like it so don’t do it. The next time you or anyone else thinks that they have it sooo bad I invite you to hop on a plane and head over to Haiti……trust me, your life ain’t that bad. If it is then do something about it. Quit whining, men don’t wanna hear it.

From a guys point of view, many if not most, women can’t perceive why after leaving hints to a guy, that they don’t pick up on them and approach them. “Jeesh all he had to do is come over and start talking and I would have definitely gone out with him, or even had made out with him”.

A few posts ago I wrote about the 5 Hints Women Give Guys . From comments and more thought, I don’t think women have the foggiest clue how hard it is for many guys to actually walk up and talk to them.

From ancient times to now, there has always been that self confident, suave, smooth talking guy, that could have his pick of women. Many of them not even good looking to boot. The women that spurned this type of guy, in his mine, chalked it up to, no big deal, it’s her loss, or something to that effect and moves on to the next.

They even had a TV show a while back called The Pick Up Artist. It took odd looking or introverted guys and showed them how to go about,  picking up women. And let me tell you, the guy who was “The Pick Up Artist” was one butt ugly dude. I have to give him props, he was one smooth talker and figured out “the formula”.

There is no formula, girls know that and most guys know that. It’s about being able to actually go up and say hello and talk to a women. The hello part can be daunting enough.  But add the pressure that once hello is over, he has to come up with more conversation. Conversation in which to engage and make him look either witty or interesting. And if your trying this at a night club, you can bet she won’t be alone and you get to perform in front of her friends to boot. This part is tantamount to getting on the Long Island Expressway at rush hour.

The LIE

The fact that there are so many articles, ‘how do’ books and CD’s on how to accomplish it, that this subject will never die. The subject matter is probably right up there in popularity for publishers as are cook books.  Yet, most guys still are stuck where they were from the start.

It’s awesome to have a mentor like these guys did on the TV show that I mentioned earlier. To actually have someone hold your hand and, watch your every move. To instruct and memorize into your sub conscious how to accomplish the task so well, that you could do it in your sleep.

The Pick Up Artist

They call it a reality show, but that isn’t reality. There are a shit full of guys, who are either all by themselves, or have taken on a partner who, now this sounds harsh, have settled for a women that is not the one they really want to be with. They do it,  for that is what is expected from society, from their families and yes for themselves. To enjoy going through life with a partner.

It’s great that women are becoming more outgoing on this subject. And the internet is aiding many a lost soul, to get their courage up, to start and converse with women“we hope their women” over dating sites, emails or im’s.

But I have no statistics on what happens to these guys after they have met someone over the net. When they finally meet, if they turn back into an insecure, intimidated flummox. Who ends up paying for dinner, then never getting the courage, to call on them again. And starting all over again, or finally just getting a pet.

I doubt anything will change soon in this respect. I could be totally off base, hell I been married for most of my adult life. So am I wrong?

It’s the man’s job to come over and start the mating dance. I can only speak for the male end of it of course. But this I am still sure of. If a woman decides to go out for the evening, with the express interest of getting a guy, she can do it easily and without a word spoken. The reverse is not true.

By the way while researching this post I did happen across something new I never heard of it is called The Seduction Community. Might have to save that for another post.
